Scam On Bright House Customers

I just got a scam e-mail from a sender claiming to be Bright House Networks that wants me to confirm my e-mail account by providing an e-mail user name, password, date of birth and country. The actual sender's e-mail address is upgradeteam001@gmail.com, which I'm pretty certain is not a legitimate Bright House e-mail address. I know a lot of readers of this blog from Indianapolis are Bright House subscribers so beware of this scam. Here's the content of the e-mail:

Good post. Bright House Networks has more information on email scams on their website: http://indiana.brighthouse.com/products_and_pricing/internet/roadrunner_alert.aspx

Definitely true. It's not always fun to find out the hard way.
